Those are really cool photos, Gabe. I especially like the third one.
I kind of forgot about the Botanical Center - I remember it being a really novel experience as a kid to walk inside from -20 degree winter weather and being hit in the face with really moist, tropical air in the 80 degree area. That and the banana tree. I never did see it with bananas on it, though.
nice potos. and as dave said, thanks for remindinding me about the botanical center. is this a reference point, or a teaser, to some more surreal botanical sculpture studies in the near future?
