Someone here in Des Moines actually commissioned me to do a desert landscape. After doing some research, I was really drawn to the images of Monument Valley in Arizona. I have never been there pesonally but would like to go some day.

It is an oil painting and the dimensions are 13" x 21". I have enjoyed using oils. The long drying time really allows for the blending and working of detail. As well as being able to get strong colors.

That is really beautiful, Gabe. Have you visited such a place, or is this from imagination? How big is it? Oil or acrylic?
