The tires are cut out of 1/2" ply wood and then I used a 1/4" round over bit on the inside and outside to get the tubeular effect. All of the shelves on the wine rack are dadoed into the sides. How big is it? Did you turn the tires on the lathe? The collaborative sculpture is coming along nicely - I agree it could use some more branches, though. What are you using for the wine rack?
