A little while ago I was working in the shop and the compressor kicked on, like it normally does, but after running normal for a bit, it suddenly changed to a crazy explosive banging noise. I quickly unplugged the machine. After doing a little dissecting I soon discovered that the piston shaft had snapped in two!

Whoa, that’s crazy. There’s nothing I like less than re-buying a tool! That stinks. My PC compressor is still going strong, fingers crossed. I was just using it this morning while I worked on a built-in bench for Sarah’s reading nook. I’ll post photos of that and the rest of the progress very shortly. Bedroom is nearly done!
