The closet thing looks pretty big. What’s the odd framing on the left side of the picture? Are you making a hobbit-sized door over there?
I echo the framing nailer wish.
Looks like it’s really coming together - now I’m jealous! You have taken a raw space and are turning it into you studio - very cool. Maybe I should get some of that motivation going.
I am making a recessed shelf for my tv, stereo, etc…
It is going to have a sliding door to keep the dust out. The door will slide up with ropes, pulleys and counterweights that will be on the inside of the wall. I am also going to have all of my cd’s and dvd’s on the inside of the closet. So here is my next idea- I am going to put the cd player and dvd player on a lazy susan so that they can turn 90 degrees to a second door that opens to the inside of the closet, for dust free loading. I know it sounds a little much but figuring it out is the fun part.
i like the up sliding door idea in this application better than for the bathroom door at our old studio. the place loks good. let me know if you need any help with anything down there. we need to get together for a session sometime soon.
