Were the drain pipes always pink?

The pipes were already pink when I moved in. I am probably going to paint them black or something. I had it all cleaned up on friday just so that I could feel like I have made some progress. Now that I know where everything is I am ready to start working. I am thinking about making some more wood flowers to sell around feb. 14. Do you know anyone that might interested in purchasing one?

Oh, and I think you should wrap the pipes in tree bark for that rustic look. Or leave the pink to keep disco alive.
