Here are a coulpe albums that I have recently aquired:
Low - I could only live in hope
This is actually Low’s first album that came out in the early nineties. I had never listened to the whole thing before. It is good, I especially like the first song “Words”. Even though the delay on the vocals makes it sound a little dated it is powerful in its own depressing way.
Sun Kil Moon (Red House Painters) - Tiny Cities
Who would of ever thought that the Red House Painters would do a cover album of Modest Mouse songs? Well here it is. But of course they don’t sound anything like the originals. Mark Kozelek seems to be able to transform any song into his own dreamy melody. If you are Modest Mouse fan aproach this album with an open mind.
